photo 5 [640x480]I have walked past Q Elevent several times visiting the South Melbourne Market and tried coming in once but they were full.  Thankfully booking is allowed so one morning, I booked Q Eleven for brekkie with a few of my girlfriends.

photo 3 [640x480]Q Eleven has a full day menu, as well as a special menu of the day.  Being ever indecisive, I was drooling over everything they have on offer.  Their menu was Mexican influenced, with quesadilla and tacos on offer.  But then again, I spotted a brioche french toast with mandarin curd and instantly want that.  Now I am in dilemma!

photo 2 [640x480]Thankfully Rach came to the rescue!  She agreed to share one savoury and one sweet item.  YAY!  Well, first of all, the french toast $14.9.  It was delicious- the rhubarb and mandarin flavour worked so well together, but to be honest I didn’t detect much of the mandarin curd.  The huge blob of white is actually creme fraiche!  It was still really yummy though!

photo 4 [640x480]Next, we had the swiss cheese and mushroom quesadillas $11.9.  I am loving the chipotle mayo!  The quesadillas were crispy and the capsicum and black bean salsa ensures the dish was not overly rich.  The portion size of the quesadillas are not huge, but it was just enough for both of us.

photo 1 (2) [640x480]Lochness ordered a zucchini and feta fritter $14.5.  Not a girl to share, I didn’t get to try any :P  Heehee but Lochness said it was delicious.

photo 2 (2) [640x480]Les ordered an avocado on toast with an extra side of bacon and poached egg.  The bacon was so delicious with the avocado, and the egg was perfectly poached.  However, we both thought it was a bit expensive to add the two sides.  One poached egg for $4 and the bacon for $ 4.5?  This all came to almost $19!  Our more complicated breakfast are even cheaper than this!

photo 1 [640x480]Overall, we did enjoy our breakfast and I will definitely be back to try all the other yummy stuff!  8/10
