Australia Dairy Company 澳洲牛奶公司

photo 1 [800x600]OMG this queue rivals the Hardware Societe!  Where is this place?  You ask.  Is it Tim Ho Wan?  Hahahaha you wish!  If it’s Tim Ho Wan the queue would be even longer!  This is Australia Dairy Company in Jordon!

photo 2 [800x600]Why, exactly, is it called Australia Dairy Company?  Do they sell milk from Australia?  Apparently not.  Australia Dairy Company is a Hong Kong style Western Cafe (Char Chaan Ting) that is super famous for its scrambled eggs.  What’s so special about the scrambled eggs?  You will soon find out!

photo 3 [800x600]Upon entering the Australia Dairy Company, it’s chaos!  The customer service is non-existent, even rude, here, so don’t ask any questions, don’t hesistate, don’t even dare to change the menu.  Just follow the waiter, plonk onto a seat (you will most likely be sharing a table), and just order.  What to order?  You can either order the morning set with ham macaroni, scrambled eggs and buttered toast or steamed milk pudding (hot or cold), which they are famous for.

photo 4 [800x600]For me, cos I am heading straight over to Yum Cha a bit later, I decided to order something light- scrambled egg and ham sandwich.  OK what the heck is that?  That, is a bad angle.

photo 5 [800x600]There you go- here is the bad boy.  Oh baby.  Sometimes I wonder how something so darn simple can be so yumgasmic.  The egg is fluffy as clouds and the ham and perfectly toasted sandwich drool worthy.  Amazingly the busyness of this shop doesn’t compromise its quality.  Definitely worth the wait.
